A shocking video of a man attempting a dangerous stunt on a railway track has gone viral, sparking widespread criticism and demands for action against such reckless acts. The clip, posted on X, shows the man lying flat on the tracks as a fast-moving train passes directly over him. The official account of Western Railway also responded to the post, requesting additional details about the incident. The footage, reportedly recorded by an associate, even shows another individual instructing the man on how to position himself just before the train arrives. Once the train clears, the man jumps up, celebrating his stunt. The time and location of the incident have not yet been confirmed. Note: Times now could not verify the authenticity of the post. The viral video carried the caption: “People are risking their lives in the pursuit of making reels..! The government should take strict action against those making such videos.” With over four lakh views, the stunt has provoked outrage online. Many users criticised the man for risking his life for momentary internet fame. One comment read, “These days, all this has become normal, wherever you look, people are doing such foolish antics; to gain a little fame, they are risking their lives” while another stated, “They should be punished.” Others blamed “reel culture” for fueling such behaviour, with one remarking, “This reel culture is destroying the nation’s wellbeing. Cringe content is taking over genuine valuable content.” In response to the viral post, Western Railway reiterated its concern and urged, “Kindly share details of the incident for better assistance.”
