Man dies in tragic tipper truck crash on M6

A man died following a tragic tipper truck crash on the M6 on Wednesday morning (November 12). Emergency services, including an air ambulance, fire crews and paramedics raced to the scene of the collision on the northbound carriageway between junctions 42 and 43 at around 11.30am. The carriageway was closed in both directions after the smash, which saw the lorry hit the central reservation. It later re-opened to traffic at around 2.45pm. "Emergency services were called after a tipper truck collided with the central reservation on the M6 between junctions 42 and 43.
