The man, aged in his 20s, was found unresponsive on McGee Terrace at approximately 3:15am. He has since passed away in hospital, a Garda spokesperson said. Advertisement The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course, the spokesperson said, adding that the results of which will determine the course of the investigation. Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Any road users who were in the area between 2:00am and 4:00am and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Kildare Garda Station on 045 527730, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
