A garda spokesperson has said two males - a juvenile in his teens and a man in his 40s – had been detained at garda stations in the Dublin region and will appear in court this afternoon. “An Garda Síochána continues to review CCTV and An Garda Síochána Body Worn Camera footage with the intent to identify persons involved in identifiable criminal activity, in addition to carrying out forensic examinations at a number of locations,” gardaí added in a statement. Gardaí have also released more bodycam footage from Wednesday night on their social media channels as they try to identify people involved in the rioting. “An Garda Síochána appeals to any person with any information on persons involved in this serious public disorder to contact the Garda investigation team at Clondalkin Garda Station at 01 6667600 or any member of An Garda Síochána at any Garda Station. “Members of the public can provide information confidentially to An Garda Síochána by contacting the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.” More than 30 other people have already been arrested and more than 20 charged with public order offences following unrest after a young girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in the area on Monday. All those charged so far have been released on bail, with conditions including that they stay away from protests and the Citywest area. Four gardaí were injured and a patrol van burned during violence on Tuesday and Wednesday. A much smaller protest on Thursday evening passed off peacefully.
