Man allegedly gave SC teen money, cars for sex, police say

ROCK HILL — A 50-year-old man is facing human trafficking and sexual misconduct charges in York County after investigators said he allegedly gave a teen money and access to cars as payment for sex, according to the Rock Hill Police Department. Yasser Abdouh Mohmmed Alssiady, of Fayetteville, N.C., was arrested on Nov. 7 following a weeklong investigation. Police said they learned of an alleged sexual relationship between Alssaidy and a 16-year-old late last month. Detectives believe Alssaidy recruited and enticed the victim into what police described as “commercial sex acts” with money, a rental car and access to another vehicle as payment. Authorities believe some of the instances happened at a business on Herlong Avenue. A spokesperson for the Rock Hill Police Department said they don’t believe there are any additional victims or that the allegations are connected to a larger network of human trafficking. Alssiady is facing charges for trafficking a person under 18 and first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was denied bond and currently remains in the Moss Justice Center.
