Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team launched a murder investigation following the 28-year-old’s death in Portavogie, a coastal village on the Ards Peninsula. Advertisement Officers and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended a house in the New Harbour Road area of the village on Monday morning. Webb was pronounced dead at the scene. This evening, the PSNI said a 21-year-old man has been charged with murder. He is expected to appear before Newtownards Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. “As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service,” a spokesperson said.
