The Malta Employers Association signed a bilateral agreement with the CrossCultural International Foundation (CCIF) for a new EU-funded project last week. The new project, the Unlock Project, aims to empower employers to tap into the funding opportunities available for them. CCIF is a leading Maltese NGO involved in anti-human trafficking activities and is a community which includes third-country nationals who are self-employed, business owners or employers, and who all encounter the same challenges when seeking access to funding opportunities. Through the agreement, Malta Employers and CCIF will collaborate on policy development and joint projects. More importantly, this Agreement grants CCIF’s community direct access to the EU Helpdesk at Malta Employers, ensuring equal participation in its events and support in navigating funding opportunities. This milestone represents the latest achievement under the Unlock Project. Beyond the immediate benefits, this Agreement also reflects the Association’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to promote inclusive workplaces and encourage responsible governance through partnerships that raise standards of fairness. It also reflects the need to foster better workplaces by building bridges between communities, employers and institutions. The aim of the collaboration further demonstrates the Association’s dedication not only to its members but also to society at large, championing ethical practices, responsible leadership, and equal access to opportunities.
