A major match took place on WWE RAW tonight. However, this match was called off after a new faction interrupted and attacked the participants.The competition for the Intercontinental Championship has been growing in recent weeks. Rusev and Penta have been gunning for Dominik Mysterio's title in recent weeks. Dominik, on the other hand, has had some help from Los Americanos in recent weeks. On the 13th October episode of RAW, Dominik challenged Penta for the Intercontinental Championship. During the match, Rusev came out to the ringside, but Penta took him out. This distraction allowed Dominik to cheat and retain his title. Last week on RAW, Dominik defended his title against Rusev. Again, Dom cheated to retain his title. Hence, Penta and Rusev were set to face each other in a number one contender's match.During the match, both Penta and Rusev brought the fight to each other. Just as the match was getting more intense, Los Americanos attacked both participants, resulting in a no-contest. However, Rusev was able to take out Bravo and Rayo. Penta also recovered and tried to attack El Grande Americano. However, he managed to escape with the help of his stablemates.Dominik Mysterio seemingly called El Grande Americano for help earlier on WWE RAWDuring WWE RAW, Dominik Mysterio was in a backstage segment with his Judgment Day members. He said they have a huge problem with this number one contender's match and asked JD McDonagh and Finn Balor to help him take care of it. However, they blatantly refused to help him.Following this, Dominik Mysterio got on his phone and asked somebody on the other end to help him out tonight. Based on what happened later in the show, the person on the other end could've been El Grande Americano.It remains to be seen if Dominik will face any consequences for what happened tonight.
