A major music artist has been forced to pull out of the entirety of a UK tour, which will include two shows in Manchester this month. Earlier this year, iconic 90s and 00s boyband Five, known for songs like Keep on Movin’ and Everybody Get Up, announced details of a major reunion tour which would see all five members perform on stage together for the first time in 25 years. The band - made up of Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville, Sean Conlon, Abz Love and Jason ‘J’ Brown - kicked off their Keep on Movin' Tour in Cardiff last week, with shows in Brighton, Bournemouth, Nottingham and Liverpool coming ahead of their first Manchester show, at the AO Arena , on Friday (November 7). It had been announced that the band would be supported on tour with a DJ set from music producer and former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here contestant Naughty Boy. The artist has worked on music with the likes of Beyoncé, Emeli Sande, and Sam Smith. The artist, whose real name is Shahid Khan, has since released a statement confirming he will no longer be appearing on the entirety of the tour. The producer said in a statement shared at the weekend that he was having to bow out of the tour, which will include a further Manchester show at Co-op Live on November 18, due to health reasons. He wrote: “Hey guys, It comes with deep regret to have to inform you that unfortunately I won’t be able to join the Five Tour due to health reasons. “This wasn’t an easy decision and believe me I tried as I was excited to see you all and share the stage with the boys but it wasn’t to be. “I want to sincerely apologise to Five, my team, and all the amazing fans for any inconvenience caused. The tour will be great and I look forward to seeing you all when I’m better — thank you.” Five, who have sold more than 20 million records, had previously said that the combination of 'five bad boys and a naughty boy' on stage sounded like 'a lot of fun'. British DJ and radio presenter MistaJam has been announced to be taking over supporting duties for a number of tour dates, but it has not been confirmed whether this will include the Manchester shows yet. Five will play the AO Arena on Friday (November 7) and will also perform at Co-op Live on November 18. The UK and Ireland tour will conclude in Dublin on December 2.
