A quick scroll online would have you convinced that everyone is angry. My own timeline last night consisted of people shouting about various facets of the upcoming presidential election, right and left ranting and raving at each other, with vaccines thrown into the mix. Most of us are too busy to realise that much of the noise is being generated by a small group of extremely active users drowning out everyone else.
Much of the negative energy is aimed at manipulating our emotions, edging us closer to concluding that the experts can’t be trusted.
