Maine Savings Federal Credit Union promotes Fournier to senior vice president of operations

HAMPDEN — Maine Savings Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Lisa Fournier to senior vice president of Operations, recognizing her remarkable leadership, deep institutional knowledge and unwavering commitment to member service.
Fournier began her banking career in 1999 and has spent over two decades growing within the credit union industry. Since joining Maine Savings in 2004 as a teller, Fournier’s career trajectory has mirrored the credit union’s own growth and evolution. From her early days in card services to leading multiple operational teams, her passion for innovation and service has consistently driven positive change.
“Lisa embodies what it means to go Beyond Banking,” said Kim Turner, chief operations officer at Maine Savings. “Her journey is a testament to what dedication, curiosity, and care for our members and team can accomplish. She brings unmatched insight to our operations and has been instrumental in shaping our path forward.”
In her new role Fournier will lead strategic operational initiatives that enhance member experience and internal efficiencies across the credit union’s growing footprint. Her leadership will continue to play a key role in aligning technology, service and support systems with Maine Savings’ long-term vision.
“I am incredibly honored and excited to step into this role,” said Fournier. “Maine Savings has been such an important part of my professional and personal journey. I’ve seen how far we’ve come — especially in the ways we invest in our members, our teams, and our technology — and I’m thrilled to continue helping us move forward.”
Fournier is also deeply engaged in her community, serving on the events planning committee for the Maine Discovery Museum and actively volunteering with local organizations including the Christine B Foundation, Bangor Humane Society, and Good Shepherd Food Bank. She is a graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute (Class of 2020) and is currently advancing through CUNA Management School, on track to earn the prestigious Certified Credit Union Executive designation.
Her promotion reinforces Maine Savings’ commitment to developing internal talent and fostering leadership that reflects the values of excellence, trust, and community — core to its mission of guiding members to financial well-being.
