Filmmaker Dinesh Vijan is once again joining forces with Vicky Kaushal for an epic new project. Titled Mahavatar, the film is set to explore the life of the legendary Chiranjeevi Parashurama and will be directed by Amar Kaushik, known for his work on Stree 2. While the film is already in full development, we've got an important update regarding the film. It was recently reported that the movie director Amar Kaushik and actor Vicky Kaushal have decided to give up on food and alcohol to focus on the film based on Lord Parshurama's epic. Vicky Kaushal and Amar Kaushik to abstain from Non-veg, alcohol for Mahavatar It has been revealed that both Vicky Kaushal and Amar Kaushik are taking their commitment to the project to the next level by making significant lifestyle changes. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, in preparation for Mahavatar, the duo has decided to give up non-vegetarian food and alcohol to ensure complete focus and dedication to the film. A source close to the production stated, "A film of this magnitude demands total focus, and Vicky and Amar are fully invested in making this a truly extraordinary spectacle for the audience. As part of their preparation, they have chosen to quit non-veg food and will mark the start of their journey with a grand pooja ceremony in the middle of next year." Due to the scale of the film, it is expected to require one full year of production, followed by another six months for post-production, including extensive VFX work to build the immersive world of Parashurama. With such careful planning and dedication, Mahavatar promises to be a landmark film in Indian cinema. Amar Kaushik and Vicky Kaushal's work frontsCurrently, Amar Kaushik is deep into the pre-visualisation (pre-vis) phase of the film, while Vicky Kaushal is focused on completing his ongoing project Love And War, which has encountered some delays. Vicky plans to adopt the same dietary restrictions once filming for Love And War is completed, considering it a gesture of respect for the role of Lord Parashurama.
