Two Married at First Sight UK stars were involved in an explosive row on Wednesday (October 1) as one groom warned, “It needs to stop”. The eagerly awaited tenth series of the popular E4 programme has officially made its comeback, and it’s already been packed with plenty of drama. Last night (September 30), the pairs sat down with relationship experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas for the first commitment ceremony, with no topic off limits. The drama carried on tonight, as one of the most solid couples, Nelly and Steven, had their first row after a night out with the rest of the cast. “It was really good at the commitment ceremony, but last night Steven and I had our first bit of conflict. I think the last couple of days, I’ve just felt a bit on edge. He’s not been the same as he was on the honeymoon,” Nelly confessed, reports OK! “I was being needy, but he does feel distant. Then last night, we all went out for some drinks. The other people started picking up on it a little bit. “Some people were saying to Steven, ‘Tell her how good she looks,’ and he didn’t like that. I’m really sorry that it’s upset him but these are my friends, I need to lean on them.” Steven then revealed: “Last night made me feel a bit uneasy. Keye walked in with Nelly, asking me to compliment her. Absolutely no idea why Keye’s got involved. “I believe Nelly’s said something to the group about our relationship. It needs to stop because it will wind me up more and more if people get involved.” Steven then turned up at Keye and Davide’s apartment, leading to a heated exchange over Nelly. Keye was left “confused” about what he had supposedly done wrong, while an irritated Steven retorted: “I don’t want anyone to get involved. Just leave me alone.” Keye responded: “Nelly was saying that she was feeling down and didn’t feel very cute about herself so I bigged her up to make her feel like she was cute. “I’m not having it sold that I was trying to come between your relationship, I’m not. I couldn’t give a flying f*** if I’m completely honest, I’m here for my relationship… I’m a cheerleader, I’m a positive person, that’s what I do.” He went on to say: “I think everyone should put effort in their relationship, Steven included. If there are aspects of his relationship that he doesn’t want to discuss, that’s a conversation between him and his wife, not me.” An irate Steven shot back: “Just stay out of my business,” before storming out of the flat. “Feeling pretty p***** off. So, I ended up just walking away. My relationship is my relationship. I don’t like people getting involved in business they shouldn’t get involved in,” he vented to the cameras. After witnessing the fiery confrontation, numerous MAFS fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their annoyance. “Steven slowly showing the side of himself that Nelly wouldn’t like,” one viewer commented, with another chiming in: “That argument between Keye and Steven literally made no sense.” Married at First Sight UK airs Sunday to Thursday on E4 at 9pm
