MAFS UK star says 'here's the truth' after explosive row

A Married At First Sight UK star has said “here’s the truth” after explosive scenes on Wednesday night (October 1).

As series ten of the popular E4 show continues, fans are witnessing plenty of drama and awkward moments as the couples navigate their new lives together. Fresh from their honeymoon, this week has seen the stars move in to their apartments and join their first dinner party and commitment ceremony.

And in true MAFS UK style, tensions were rising for one couple, Nelly and Steven, after they had their first argument when the group went out for drinks. Last night’s instalment saw Steven confronting Keye at his and Davide’s apartment, with the pair clashing over Nelly.

Steven later fumed: “Just stay out of my business,” before quickly leaving the apartment, admitting he was “p***** off”.

During the episode on October 1, Keye held his ground as he said he was a “cheerleader” and a “positive person”.

Now, the star has taken to social media to share the “truth”. Keye wrote: “Tonight on #mafsuk the cheerleader, cheered… But being a cheerleader isn’t about pom-poms or being the loudest, it’s about energy, loyalty, and showing up for people even when the world makes it hard.

“I’ve always believed in clapping the loudest for my friends, holding space for strangers, and reminding anyone who needs to hear it that they’re enough exactly as they are.

“But here’s the truth: standing by what you believe isn’t always popular. People will project, twist, or assume, and that’s not on me.

“I can’t be accountable for your assumptions. What I can be accountable for is my authenticity, my kindness, and the way I use my voice to lift others up.

“So here’s your reminder: believe in yourself, root for your people, and never be afraid to stand tall in your truth. The world needs your cheer.”

And the support poured in as co-star Nelly said: “My cheerleader [heart] you have such a kind heart.”

One fan wrote: “You keep being you. You did the right thing, it touched a nerve but suddenly some true colours are revealed. You are the kind of friend we all need.”

Another commented: “People are so lucky to have you cheering for them. You are articulate and yet care so deeply for everyone who comes in your path.

“I love the journey we are watching play out on our screens and the deeper character we are seeing. We all need a Keye cheering for us.”

A third fan added: “Spoken with such eloquence and the utmost integrity. A good friend, a good human. I think you’ve inspired others to have a bit more fight for themselves and for their community. All the best to you Keye.”

MAFS UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
