A Married At First Sight UK bride looks almost unrecognisable in unearthed throwback snaps from before the show.
The hit E4 reality show returned earlier this month for its tenth series with 18 new singletons ready to marry a complete stranger. Several couples have already tied the knot, with some experiencing their first hurdles with a lack of “connection”.
Some bride and grooms to be have come under fire by fans within minutes of their episodes airing. Sarah and Dean have seen their share of backlash as Sarah remains unconvinced of her partnership, feeling “no spark”, as Dean continues to belt out on song and rap – which he says shows his feelings.
And tonight, more singles prepare to enter the experiment as bride Leah, from Liverpool looks for her perfect match. The now 35-year-old business owner is said to “live life to the fullest” and enjoys playing sports, travelling and “doesn’t take herself too seriously.”
Having previously dated men on and off, Leah wondered why she never experienced “butterflies” until her first kiss with a woman at the age of 25. Now, she’s hoping the experts will be able to find her a woman that “wakes up with a smile on her face”.
As the star appears on the show, Leah stuns in a long sleeved white gown with her hair cut short in a blonde bob. But throwback pictures on the star’s social media show her looking almost unrecognisable.
In an earlier post on Instagram, Leah posted a selfie of herself posing with her long brown hair pulled up in a bun. Appearing fresh faced, she captioned the post: “@lunafallsfashion bikinis”, which was seemingly posted back in 2017.
As well as having her hair longer and darker, Leah has also experimented with blonde hair, but cut longer than what she sports today, instead cut past her shoulders.

In a sneak peak preview, fans are in for a treat with yet more dramatic scenes as Leah is first introduced to her bride to be. The voiceover teases: “As two more brave singles enter the experiment, one of the brides has serious second thoughts.”
In the teaser clip, Leah says: “I’m scared, but I’m definitely ready.” However, after meeting her new bride, she can later be heard telling the camera: “I don’t know if she fancies me you know.”
Speaking to Diva, Leah, who identifies as bisexual, admitted: “I feel like I connect a lot more on a deeper level with a woman.”
