One of the grooms from this year's Married At First Sight UK series has seemingly shared a cryptic relationship update just days after issuing a statement he signed off as Mr Villain. His Instagram post came following last week's instalment of the Channel 4 reality series. Viewers saw couples travel to their home towns in a bid to strengthen their relationships in the outside world. However, for some, realisations were made about their relationships. However, the relationship between Steven and Nelly seemed to go from bad to worse. That was because he refused to join her as she went back to Manchester. Nelly's family were devastated for her but her flatmate Lucy took the opportunity to shared some shocking news. After joining the two, Steven was faced with some touch questions from Lucy, who asked: "Do you think it's appropriate to be on a dating website?" Despite denying it, Lucy revealed a verified picture of him on the Hinge dating app. Speaking to producers, a shocked Nelly said: "It's not adding up, I don't get it... "Steven being on this dating app while we're still married is cheating. That's a guilty man. This marriage is well and truly over, I want nothing to do with Steven anymore." It didn't take long before Steven took to social media after the episode aired on E4. He shared a picture of himself smiling on the show and along with it he wrote: "The smile of a man who left the experiment after partner swap and still showed up to give the ‘audience’ what they wanted." Not finished there, he went on: "‘Are you not entertained?’ Yeah, that’s right… I refused home stays, because there was nothing romantic there from me. A conversation the ‘ex wife’ knew about as she was sat right next to me when speaking to producers. Signing out, Mr Villain." Now it seems that Steven has shared a cryptic relationship update of his own following the statement. He shared a black and white photograph on his Instagram stories which showed his arm beside a couple of drinks as it appeared he was out for a meal with a certain someone. Fans posting on the MAFS UK subreddit did some digging of their own and managed to track down the original picture. It was previously shared on the social media account by a woman, in colour. They posted it with the caption 'date night' followed by a love heart emoji. Viewers were left unimpressed with this latest development. One didn't hold back and commented: "This is absolutely foul." The woman who posted the original photo has since made their account private. Married At First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
