Drivers face delays on the M6 in the West Midlands this morning.
Traffic is queueing on the southbound carriageway near to Junction 7, Great Barr.
Inrix, a traffic monitoring service, has reported that there is an ‘obstruction’ in the road.

Motorway cameras show lines of traffic across multiple lanes brought close together.
The incident is causing delays for commuters heading to work during the morning rush hour.
This section of motorway is a busy stretch for drivers heading south into Birmingham and beyond.
It is not known yet what type of obstruction has taken place.
Inrix reported: “One lane closed and queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road on M6 Southbound before J7 A34 Birmingham Road (Great Barr).”
Camera feeds from the M6 showed traffic backing up on what is a rainy and murky morning.
While live traffic data from Google showed areas of road along the southbound M6 before and after J7.
