Lydia Plath is “tired” of people using AI to create false pregnancy announcements for her and her husband, Zac Wyse. “What I do get most tired of … is the people using AI to announce our pregnancy. That gets on my nerves,” Plath, 21, shared on the Tuesday, October 21, episode of the “Revive Her” podcast. “I get being in the public eye people will misunderstand and they’ll spread false narratives, but to use AI to create a pregnancy photo [and] I hope I don’t look like that when I’m pregnant.” Wyse, who tied the knot with Plath in February, said the “hard part” is that “there are some old people that follow Lydia” and they don’t understand if something is AI. “One of her friends actually messaged her, saying, ‘Congratulations!’” Wyse revealed before Plath noted, “Do I really need to say something publicly about this? If you don’t see it pinned on my social media, I’m not pregnant. Don’t believe the AI, please.” Lydia rose to fame on the reality show Welcome to Plathville, which showcased the Plath family who were raised in a strict and conservative environment in rural Georgia with little exposure to the outside world. Lydia’s parents, Barry Plath and Kim Plath, share nine children — Lydia, Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Issac, Amber, Cassia and Mercy. Lydia and Wyse debuted their relationship on social media in November 2024 and announced their engagement the following month. “A million reasons to say YES to the love of my life! 🥹❤️💍@zaclwyse you’re a gift from the Lord! 🤍,” Lydia wrote via Instagram in December 2024 alongside photos from the proposal. “You’ve been so patient with me and you’ve led in such a humble and giving way. The way you care for not only me, but for my family, my friends and everyone you come across in such an intentional way is a rare gem to find.” Lydia continued: “And the ways I’ve seen the Lord work in and through our relationship has been such a beautiful experience and I can’t wait to experience that with you forever! ❤️I love you so much❤️ And I’m blessed to call you mine❤️.” The couple tied the knot in February — and later revealed that they shared their first kiss on their wedding day. “Yes! We saved our FIRST KISS for our wedding day! 😘,” Lydia wrote via Instagram in August. “It’s really saddening to see how that is taken such the wrong way in this day and age. Instead of people seeing how honoring and selfless that was of my husband, they assume we just weren’t attracted to each other. QUITE THE OPPOSITE!” Lydia explained that waiting to kiss Wyse was “secretly” something that she “had desired” but she wanted him to bring it up first. “To my surprise within one week of dating, Zac brings it up!” she said. “It had never even crossed his mind till he met me. ‘There is just a purity about you that I want to protect,’ Zac said. 🥹🤍The waiting was worth it! And now that we’re married, trust me, we’re making up for lost time! 😘This man loves me in such a beautiful, pure way that I didn’t even know existed! ❤️🥹Love you so much @zaclwyse.”
