Loyalty Insurance, J in G Centre hold Business Dialogue on strategic leadership

Loyalty Insurance Company, a leading general insurer in Ghana, and J in G Corporate Retreat Centre, have held a half day business dialogue on strategic leadership.

The event, was held at the J in G Corporate Retreat Centre, Tsoooli, located after Community 25, Tema, under the theme “From Vision to Results: How Strategic Leadership Charts Great Organizational Performance.”

The business dialogue brought together business founders, corporate chief executives and senior professionals from across many sectors, providing an interactive platform where participants discussed how Ghanaian businesses can sharpen their competitiveness.

The event was chaired by Nana Appiagyei Dankawoso, a former national president of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

The main speaker was Dr Gideon Amenyedor, a renowned chartered insurer, finance and management consultant, and the Tema Chairman of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industries, who is also the Founder and CEO of J in G.

In his presentation, Dr Amenyedor stressed that “vision is the seed of every successful organizations, but without strategic leadership to chart the course, vision remains a dream.”

He further highlighted that strategic leadership is not just about setting direction but about building systems that deliver results. “Organizations must cultivate leaders who can translate ideas into executable strategies, foster innovations and create accountability structures that guarantee performance,” Dr Amenyedor noted.

The issues raised by the presentation were discussed by Lawyer Rudolph Matey, founder and CEO of Servaco PPS and Emmanuel Abledu, founder of Able Academy. Business founders and CEOs in attendance lauded the initiative, describing it as timely in light of the current economic challenges and opportunities facing the private sector.

During the event, Michael Alottey, Head of Marketing Loyalty Insurance Company made a presentation of the company’s products and services to participants.

For Loyalty Insurance, the event forms part of its commitment to advancing corporate governance and leadership excellence in Ghana. J in G Corporate Retreat Centre also reaffirmed its mission to provide a conducive environment for though leadership, executive reflection and corporate transformation.

The success of the programme reinforces the growing need for collaborative platforms that blend academic insight, practical experience and strategic reflection to drive organizational performance in Ghana’s evolving business landscape.

The next major corporate event it will host will take place this Friday, October 3: a dialogue , being held in collaboration with Vanguard Assurance and the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industries under the theme – “The Attitude of the Ghanaian Worker: A Critical Factor in Productivity and Economic Growth.”
