Lowcountry moms creating resources for families of children with autism

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Families in the Lowcountry who have a child with autism will have an easier time finding support thanks to mothers who have launched organizations.
When doctors told Dominique Tillis her son had autism, she says what was supposed to be a list of solutions felt like a blank page.
Her son Jaceyon Bradley was only three years old when doctors broke the news.
Tillis immediately started looking for treatment just to be told not soon enough.
Tillis started compiling all her own research of programs able to treat her son, prompting her to start a consulting business so no family feels the same.
Tillis opened her business a few days ago and says numerous families have already reached out saying how much they needed this.
She hopes one day to go nonprofit and travel from state to state to host events that bring awareness to autism.
