Netflix has just dropped the trailer for the brand new season of Love is Blind, which will premiere on October 1.
As always, the gentlemen and ladies will participate in romantic encounters without glimpsing each other’s appearances, hoping to become engaged and walk down the aisle.
Fresh episodes will arrive each Wednesday as the couples journey towards their meeting at the altar, with 12 episodes planned in total.
During the Love is Blind season eight reunion, Minnesota Vikings’ Josh Metellus revealed the experiment would be relocating to Denver.
This year’s participants include a championship poker player, a former COVID crisis nurse, a single father and a pair of devoted concert enthusiasts.
The dramatic trailer reveals one participant rising from the sofa during an interview, appearing visibly distressed.
He is heard confessing: “I gotta get out of here, I can’t do this,” before being shown departing outside.
Another gentleman is heard enquiring: “Is he leaving?”
Audiences won’t have long to wait before the drama begins.
Elsewhere in the trailer, several uncomfortable moments arise whilst the prospective couples discuss the possibility of children.
Whilst one of the female participants confesses: “I’ve always really wanted two boys and a girl”, her companion reveals: “Actually, I got snipped.”
Several romantic triangles also appear to be forming, with one participant seemingly professing his affection for multiple people.
Plenty of tears flow as one woman confesses: “He really had me convinced that he was going to be my husband.”
Viewers can brace themselves for a rollercoaster of emotions, with numerous disagreements, heartfelt confessions and tender moments as the couples gear up for their big day.
They’re cautioned: “At the altar, the truth will come out,” promising a drama-filled journey right up to the grand finale.
Love is Blind season 9 airs on Netflix from October 1
