With head coach Sean McVay and quarterback Matthew Stafford in the building, the Los Angeles Rams will continue to be a major Super Bowl threat. While that winning window is open, general manager Les Snead must do his best to keep that window open as long as possible. This is a good overall roster, but like every team in the free agency era, there are always going to be some holes that need to be filled. In the latest 2-round 2026 NFL mock draft at A to Z Sports, the emphasis was on the long-term future over the short-term. With the first selection that the Rams received from the draft trade with the Atlanta Falcons last year, they found their heir apparent to Stafford. They selected South Carolina standout LaNorris Sellers, who would be a tremendous developmental player behind the veteran signal caller. Here is what A to Z Sports NFL draft analyst Joe DeLeone had to say about the Sellers' fit in Los Angeles. 11. Los Angeles Rams (via Atlanta): LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina The premise of drafting a quarterback for the Rams may be far-fetched, but if they’re picking in the top 15 thanks to the Falcons’ picks, they should strongly consider it. If a prospect as physically gifted as Sellers is available, they cannot hesitate. While Sellers has struggled a bit this year, he’d be able to sit briefly behind Stafford before taking over and then dominating in McVay’s offense. – DeLeone As if seeing the Rams with a first round pick isn't weird enough, they have two selections right now. With the No. 23 overall selection, the Rams selected Oregon offensive tackle Isaiah World. With ROb Havenstein adding quickly at right tackle, finding a young replacement would be wise. Injuries also always happen, especially on the offensive line. Here is what I wrote about World's fit with the Rams. 23. Los Angeles Rams: Isaiah World, OT, Oregon Starting right tackle Rob Havenstein is hanging on by his last leg, so this Rams team is going to need to figure out a potential future replacement soon. From a pure talent perspective, World brings a lot to the table. The former Nevada standout is long, athletic, and still has a lot of room for improvement. – Roberts With the Rams' second round selections, No. 56 overall, the team selected San Diego State cornerback Chris Johnson. The 6-0, 195-pound cover man is a really smooth athlete who plays with tremendous football IQ. He has the talent to come in and compete for playing time very early, which the Rams need desperately.
