Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have separated after nearly 28 years of marriage. The couple, who married in 1997 and share two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, are now living apart. A representative for Loughlin confirmed they are “taking a break” from their marriage but said there are no legal divorce proceedings at this time, as per People report. Lori Loughlin’s Net Worth As of 2025, the couple’s combined net worth is estimated at around $80 million, though some reports place it between $70 million and $88 million. Much of Giannulli’s fortune comes from his Mossimo clothing brand, which gained popularity in the 1990s and was sold exclusively at Target from 2000 to 2017. He sold the brand to Iconix Brand Group in 2006. Loughlin, best known for her role in “Full House,” has an individual net worth once reported at $8 million. Why The Couple Separated? The breakup comes six years after the couple was caught up in the 2019 college admissions scandal, one of the biggest controversies in Hollywood at the time. Loughlin and Giannulli admitted to paying bribes to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California by presenting them as fake rowing recruits. In 2020, both pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in a high-profile court case. Loughlin served two months in prison and was released in December 2020. Giannulli received a five-month sentence and was released in April 2021. The scandal was widely covered in the media and later turned into a Netflix movie, further cementing its place in pop culture. Since completing her sentence, Loughlin has slowly returned to acting. She appeared in “When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas,” “Fall Into Winter,” and even played a humorous version of herself in an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” alongside Larry David. She has also featured in shows like “Blue Bloods” and “On Call.” In her first major interview after prison, Loughlin said she tries to let go of negativity and focus on moving forward. She said, “No one is perfect, we all make mistakes… For your own health, you have to let things go because life’s too short.” For now, the couple remains apart, but no legal steps toward divorce have been taken.
