Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Split After Nearly 28 Years of Marriage

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Split After Nearly 28 Years of Marriage

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have separated after nearly 28 years of marriage.
Loughlin’s representative confirmed to TODAY.com on Thursday, Oct. 2, that the actor and fashion designer, who share daughters Isabella Rose Giannulli, 27, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26, are not currently living together.
“I can confirm that Lori and Mossimo are living apart and that no legal proceedings are underway,” Loughlin’s rep said.
According to People, Loughlin and Giannulli placed their Hidden Hills, California, home on the market in February.
Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, eloped on Thanksgiving Day in 1997 after dating for two years, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Giannulli founded the fashion company Mossimo, which was sold in Target stores from 2000 to 2017. He sold the brand to Iconix Brand Group in 2006, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The “Full House” star and Giannulli have faced some challenges during their marriage, most notably a college admissions bribery scandal. In 2019, the two admitted to paying $500,000 to falsely claim their daughters were rowing recruits to help them get accepted to the University of Southern California.
Loughlin pleaded guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and mail fraud. She was sentenced to a two-month prison term and received a $150,000 fine, as well as 100 hours of community service.
The fashion designer pleaded guilty to an additional charge of conspiracy to commit honest services wire and mail fraud, which led to him serving a five-month sentence.
In 2024, Loughlin discussed her personal life and family in her first interview since the scandal with First for Women.
“My family wasn’t one to hold grudges,” she said at the time. “I didn’t grow up in a household where if you made a mistake, you weren’t forgiven. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. So I was always told to let stuff go. And I think for your own health, you have to let things go because you can’t hang on to negativity. Life’s too short.”
Before her marriage to Giannulli, Loughlin was previously married to entertainment executive Michael Burns from 1989 to 1996.
