The First Lady, Lordina Mahama, will deliver a keynote address at the 7th Annual Prayer Service for Children on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on Monday, September 22, 2025.
According to a report by citinewsroom.com, her invitation to the event reaffirms her commitment to advocating for the welfare of children in Ghana and across the globe.

It noted that the event organised by World Vision International alongside other global faith-based and humanitarian organisations, will take place at the Center for the United Nations, Tillman Chapel.
Themed “A Moment of Hope,” the service will explore six key dimensions: hope, compassion, resilience, purpose, joy, wisdom and spiritual life.
“The goal is to inspire global leaders to reflect and act on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children, especially during a time of global crisis”, the report noted.
