LORAIN, Ohio – The Lorain Police Department has identified the victim in Saturday’s deadly shooting at Lakeview Park North as 18-year-old Isaac Brocco-Rivera, a student of Lorain City Schools. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the park around 6:44 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Brocco-Rivera inside a vehicle near the west end of the parking lot with at least one apparent gunshot wound to the head, according to a news release. Officers provided emergency aid at the scene and called for Lifecare EMS. Brocco-Rivera was transported to Mercy Health – Lorain Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police confirmed that Brocco-Rivera was enrolled in Lorain City Schools but that no further information about the ongoing investigation is being released at this time. The Lorain Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau is leading the investigation and asks that anyone with information contact detectives at 440-204-2105. Callers may remain anonymous.
