Ball is satisfied with where he is playing today Now that Ball is playing for the Cavaliers, it’s a new journey for him. It has been rough over the past few years for the 6’6" guard because he was sidelined for two seasons with his lower-body injuries. He returned to full health in the 2024-25 season, but it took him a while to get back to full speed. Now that he is with the Cavaliers, he is in the right position to not only contribute but also not to overexert himself as a starter. Ball can be one of the most impactful players on the Cavaliers’ roster. Most people will say that the core four of Garland, Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen are the key players. However, they should never count out names like Ball and Max Strus as potential contributors to this their quest to reach the NBA Finals and win. “I feel good. Of course, last night was our first game, and we couldn’t get the job done. But, moving around, I felt pretty good. I feel a lot better than last year, and I think that’s pretty normal with big injuries. You take a year to get really used to how you want to move around,” Ball said about the 2025-26 season on Stephen A. Smith’s show.
