London Mayor Sadiq Khan declared himself “indifferent” to Donald Trump, stating he has “more important things to worry about”.

This statement followed Trump’s claim that he requested Khan’s exclusion from state visit events in the UK.

Trump had previously labelled Sir Sadiq “among the worst mayors in the world”, criticising his handling of crime and immigration in London.

Trump alleged Khan wanted to attend the state visit, but Khan’s office had clarified weeks prior that he did not seek or expect an invitation.

The ongoing dispute between the two figures dates back to at least 2015, escalating through incidents such as Trump’s Muslim travel ban suggestion and the “Trump baby blimp”.
