Logan Paul drops bold take on Jake Paul’s potential clash with Canelo Alvarez

He was clearly aware it was not a widely supported opinion, as he limited who could reply to his post. Only people he follows or has mentioned were able to respond.

If they could, boxing fans would likely dismiss Logan’s words as absurd.

Jake’s 12-1 record is largely inflated by facing opponents who are either past their prime, smaller, or both.

Canelo, meanwhile, is a multiple-weight world champion and one of the most respected fighters of his generation.

Jake Paul’s next steps

Jake Paul is set to step back into the ring on 14 November for what looks to be his toughest challenge so far.

‘The Problem Child’ will face WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition bout.

The 30-year-old boxer has built a strong reputation, holding a 30-0-1 record and a win over Ryan Garcia, but he stands at just 5ft 5in and usually fights at 135lbs.

On the other hand, Paul is listed at 6ft 1in and weighed as much as 227lbs when he faced Mike Tyson last year.

While there is no doubt about who the more skilled boxer is, the difference in size could be a significant factor when they meet.
