James is a football writer at GiveMeSport, joining the team in September 2024 having garnered experience in the field in recent years.
In 2021, James joined the Press in York as an apprentice journalist and after a few months working with the news team, transferred to the sports desk.
He covered York City, following them home and away, until departing the Press in late 2022 to pursue other things.
Between then and now, he has worked in various fields such as copywriting and proofreading, all the while keeping a keen eye on football and its developments.
