Hi friends. Welcome back to our federal politics blog. Courtney Gould from the ABC's Parliament House team here and ready to to guide you through the day. So what can we expect from today? It's a mixed bag, to be honest, from looking at the morning papers. Expect there to be more chatter and reaction to the ongoing negotiations between the government, the Coalition and (to a lesser extent) the Greens on the reworked environment reforms. The government has also written to the regulator to order the telcos to report outages in real time. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese remains on the summit circuit. More on that in a minute. So grab a cuppa and settle in. Who knows where this day will take us.
