Queues are building on two Greater Manchester motorways following a serious crash near Rochdale. A car has been involved in a collision on the A627(M) northbound, between the M62 and Rochdale this afternoon (October 26). There is currently heavy traffic on both the A627(M) and the M62 in either direction approaching junction 20 for Rochdale. Footage from the scene, seen by the Manchester Evening News, appears to show a car has landed on its roof. A post on the Inrix traffic monitoring service said: "A627(M) Northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from J3 M62 J20 (Rochdale) to J4 A664 Edinburgh Way."
