In Uzbekistan, a list and criteria for selecting land plots for the construction of administrative buildings have been approved to ensure the optimal placement of local government bodies operating in districts and cities in one location. This is stated in the government resolution adopted on October 22 this year, ’’On measures to implement business projects on the sites of buildings and structures of local government bodies through their optimal relocation in selected districts (cities) for accelerated comprehensive development.’’ Below is the list of local government bodies that will be optimally located in a single area: Criteria for selecting land plots for the construction of administrative buildings have also been determined. According to the decision, the selected land area should be around 1.5 to 2 hectares. The location must be close to the city center and have convenient transport and road infrastructure for residents and organizations. It should provide access to main highways through buses, metro, or other public transport. Among the selection criteria are the availability of energy and water supply, an environmentally clean area, sufficient natural lighting, and a site suitable for construction. In addition, the possibility of rapid evacuation in emergencies and proximity to densely populated areas are also noted as important factors. It was earlier reported that new administrative buildings would be constructed for district (city) local government bodies in Uzbekistan.
