It was only a matter of time until the Detroit Lions awarded star Aidan Hutchinson a massive contract extension. The perennial pass rusher has been on a year in his young career, despite missing the majority of the 2024 season due to injury. In 2025, he is already at six sacks and four forced fumbles through seven games played. Simply put, Hutchinson is a cornerstone for the Lions’ defense, and he will remain with Detroit for the next four seasons at least. The team has awarded the young defensive end a monster four-year, $180 million extension. This also includes $141 million of guaranteed money.
