Lincoln East win Nebraska's Class A dual tennis title

KEARNEY, Neb. — Lincoln East won 14 of 15 matches Monday, including a sweep of Omaha Creighton Prep in the finals, to capture the Class A duals championship.
Playing for the Spartans were Josh Ng at No. 1 singles, Daniel Ji at No. 2 singles, Simon Johnson and Samarth Sajeesh at No. 1 doubles, Brad Bobaru and James Yu at No. 2 doubles and Kayden Cansler and Aarav Sharma at No. 3 doubles.
Lincoln East’s Hunter Nelson, going for an undefeated career sweep of the No. 1 singles titles in Class A this week in Lincoln, Omaha Creighton Prep’s Alex Liu and Lincoln Southeast’s Owen Brown bypassed the meet.
Kearney defeated Lincoln Southeast for third place.
