Singer Lily Allen has announced her long-awaited return to the stage. And Brit Award-winning singer will kick off her 2026 UK tour in Scotland. The 40-year-old will open her 13-date West End Girl tour at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on March 2, 2026, performing her brand-new album in full for the first time. The show marks Allen's long-awaited return to the stage after several years away from touring. Her new album, which dropped on Friday, seems to show the emotional unraveling of her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour. The songs appear to follow the relationship's decline in chronological order, from Allen's reluctant acceptance of an open marriage to the painful realisation that their agreed boundaries had been crossed. Reports suggest that the couple split at the end of 2024, following four years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2020 at a Las Vegas chapel with an Elvis Presley impersonator as the wedding officiant. The album, her first in seven years, blends elements of 'truth' and 'fantasy', according to Allen. The record has earned widespread praise and generated significant buzz among fans and critics alike. The upcoming tour marks Allen's first major run of live shows since 2019, offering fans the chance to experience her new album performed on stage for the very first time. Kicking off at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on March 2, the tour will travel across the UK with stops in Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Cambridge, Bristol and Cardiff. The 40-year-old has opted for a more intimate setting, deliberately chosen theatre venues to create an intimate and closer atmosphere between her and the audience. The tour will finish with two special performances at The London Palladium on March 20 and 21. General sale tickets go on sale Thursday, November 7, at 10am and will be available to purchase on the official Ticketmaster website and the official Gigs in Scotland website. Presale tickets are also available for the gig, on both official websites the day before on November 6 at 10am. Allen first shot to fame in 2006 with her debut album Alright, Still, featuring the breakout hit Smile. She went on to earn two UK Number 1 albums - It’s Not Me, It’s You and Sheezus - and three chart-topping singles, cementing her place as one of the UK's most distinctive pop voices. Her previous album No Shame earned a Mercury Prize nomination and was praised for its raw honesty. Since then, she has taken a step back from music to focus on writing and acting, releasing her memoir My Thoughts Exactly in 2018. West End Girl sees Allen return to songwriting, co-writing all 14 songs with her musical director Blue May.
