Liam Gallagher Makes Life-Changing Admission About Oasis Reunion Tour

This year’s Oasis Live ’25 Tour hasn’t just had a positive impact on the band’s loyal fans. Front man Liam Gallagher says it saved his life. Gallagher, 53, who co-headlines the British band with his brother Noel, has been open over the years about his struggles with drugs and alcohol. Back in March, he said he was “good” and “not interested” in booze at the moment. Gallagher has had to stay sober for the band’s reunion tour, and said on social media over the weekend that doing so has “saved” him. A candid, and heartfelt, admission from rock legend On Monday, an Oasis fan complimented Gallagher for keeping up with his health and sobriety throughout the tour. “You’ve done a great job staying healthy for the gigs, Liam,” the fan wrote on X/Twitter. “I’m sorry u have to live like a monk during the tour – but damn, you’re killing it!! Thank you thank you thank you.” In response, the “Wonderwall” singer credited the resurrection of the band with keeping him alive, though he later did admit to missing the “occasional Guinness.” “Oasis saved my life it’s about time I sorted my nappa [head] out I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made thems the rules MCFC,” he wrote. Oasis Live ’25 Tour a massive event Announced in August 2024 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, the Oasis Live ’25 Tour has marked the first live appearances for the band since their highly-publicized breakup in 2009. The Gallagher brothers have had a checkered relationship, to say the least, over the years. However, both have insisted they’ve mended fences, and all has seemingly been copacetic throughout the tour, as Noel said it would be last December. “It won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old,” Noel said. “We’re too old to give a s–t now, so there won’t be any fallouts, there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.” The Oasis Live ’25 Tour kicked off in Cardiff, Wales on July 4 and continues through shows in Brazil on Nov. 22-23. Other stops have included London, Dublin, Toronto, Edinburgh, Chicago, Pasadena, Mexico City, East Rutherford, N.J., Sydney, Melbourne and Tokyo.
