A huge blaze erupted this morning at the JNS Business Centre, a Mumbai commercial high-rise in the citys Jogeshwari West suburb, leading to a major emergency response. The rescue operation is in progress, the official informed, emphasising that priority is their safe evacuation.To fight the raging fire, the Mumbai Fire Brigade has assigned a minimum of 12 fire engines and other specialized firefighting machinery. Other civic and emergency services have been rushed to the location, and extinguishing operations are in progress. The origin of the fire is still being investigated.Independent Fire Devours Printing Press In Central KolkataIn another reported incident in Eastern India, people panicked in central Kolkata after a blaze hit a two-storeyed building with a printing press and a few shops on Amherst Street.The blaze, which began at approximately 8 am, inflicted extensive damage in the crowded locality but left no one injured. Six fire trucks were dispatched to extinguish the flames. Reports confirmed that the blaze may have been caused by a huge quantity of inflammable items, such as empty oil drums, kept in stock inside the print press, facilitating the quick spread of fire.
