To the editor: Can we in the Berkshire Hills Regional School District embrace the very best for our youngest citizens and future generations? Yes, we can. Can we prepare the full diversity of our teenagers with a holistic and equitable education as they enter adulthood with knowledge, well being and critical thinking? Yes, we can. Can we dig deeper into our own lives with the dedication, sacrifice and costs as our predecessors did for us? Yes, we can. And can we do this in a cost effective way, leveraging other resources to minimize our own expenses that will have to be doled out no matter what? Yes, we can. I plan to join the legion of young parents, educators and others who want a better future for our children and our community to vote yes Nov. 4 for a new high school.
