EXCLUSIVE: Polish-American actress Lena Góra has inked with Artist International Group for management. Góra is the breakout star of HBO Max’s espionage thriller The Eastern Gate, the platform’s most-watched non-English language series of the year. The show was renewed for a second season. Most recently, Góra starred alongside Charlie XCX and Jeremy O. Harris in Erupcja from director Peter Ohs. Premiering at TIFF, the Warsaw-set film follows two women as they complicate their romantic lives. Other notable credits for Góra include her screenwriting debut Roving Woman from executive producer Wim Wenders, where she also stars alongside Oscar-nominee John Hawkes; and the critically acclaimed drama Imago, a film she co-wrote and starred in, earning her the Best Actress award at Poland’s Gdynia Film Festival. The film also went on to win many international awards, including the Silver Lions and FIPRESCI Critics Award for Best Film at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Góra will next be seen opposite Joel Kinnaman in the four-hour TNT miniseries Debriefing the President, set to premiere later this year. AIG’s roster includes Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Monica Belluci, Anil Kapoor, Jordi Molla, Tayme Thapthimthong, Gong Li, Fan Bingbing and Rossy de Palma as well as writer/directors including Timur Bekmambetov, Ludovic Bernard and Tony Kaye.
