But while the photo sent the rumour mill into overdrive, the Telegraph later revealed the circumstances behind the snap. Ponga and his father Andre had flown over to New Zealand for a speaking engagement at the bar with former Warriors forward Sione Faumuina. The star prop has been aggressively chased by R360 and the rogue rugby organisation is now confident he will agree to a code hop, Code Sports reports. According to the report, Haas is considering a groundbreaking offer worth up to $3 million per-season.
