Leafs' Joseph Woll Shares Honest Reaction to NHL Facemash Including Connor Bedard

After the Toronto Maple Leafs’ 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, a funny video surfaced on the internet, lifting fans’ mood even higher. Sports on Prime Canada posted a clip on X. The video showed players reacting to several facemash of photos made by combining two NHL players’ faces. Joseph Woll had one of the best reactions when he saw a photo mixing Connor Bedard and Seth Jarvis. “The top one’s scary,” Woll said. “Looks like a young Johnny Depp or something weird like that. Aho and Bedard? Or not Aho. I mean, Jarvis and Bedard or something?” Woll also reacted to a photo of John Tavares and Matthew Knies. “That looks like a thumb. The neck to the head is one width.” Woll said. In the same video, other Leafs players were also asked to recognize facemash of different players. Reacting to a facemash of Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby, Max Domi and William Nylander guessed it right. Auston Matthews recognized a facemash of him and Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki. “I don’t know. It kind of looks like me and Nick Suzuki,” Matthews said. While Domi reacted with surprise, asking, “That’s Suzuki?” Furthermore, William Nylander guessed his own mix with Quinn Hughes. He also guessed a facemash of Chris Tanev and Woll. And in one special reaction, Auston Matthews quickly identified a facemash of Cale Makar and Connor McDavid. The video came after the Leafs’ strong win in Philadelphia. Matthews, Jake McCabe, Nicholas Robertson, Easton Cowan, and Calle Jarnkrok scored for Toronto. Tavares added two assists, and Anthony Stolarz made 31 saves. Next, the Maple Leafs will play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.
