Avelo Airlines, the Houston-based budget carrier, was initially scheduled to discontinue all West Coast routes and flights from December 2.But, a spokesperson stated to KTLA on Tuesday that the airline would instead halt service on October 20. Authorities mentioned that this decision came as a result of “aircraft needs elsewhere and lack of demand during our final month.” The spokesperson cited that passengers who have already purchased the tickets should have been updated in regard to the fresh options.Background Avelo Airlines introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, after a rebrand from its past identity as Casino Express Airlines.
