It’s time for your weekly update of the latest OTT releases and the next seven days have the perfect blend of movies and TV shows to satiate all your bingeing needs. Manav Kaul plays a police officer investigating an eerie case of missing children in Baramulla; Huma Qureshi returns as Rani Bharti in the fourth outing of the political drama Maharani; Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein makes its way to your screen; Pankaj Kapur, Mona Singh and Kunaal Roy Kapur star in a heartfelt family drama titled Thode Door Thode Paas. Bad Girl (November 4) Bad Girl is a bold Tamil coming-of-age drama starring Anjali Sivaraman as Ramya, a young woman navigating the pressures of love, identity and societal expectations from her school days into early adulthood. Premiered at the 54th International Film Festival Rotterdam, it won the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film. Following its September theatrical release, the film is now making its way to the OTT space. Streaming on JioHotstar First Copy season 2 (November 4) Set against the gritty backdrop of ’90s Mumbai, First Copy  season 2 continues the saga of Arif (Munawar Faruqui), a driven young man who built a film‑piracy empire after being humiliated in the studio world. As his illicit business surges, Arif catches the attention of the police and the film industry’s underworld alike, forcing him to fend off both legal crackdowns and rival operators. Also starring Krystle D’Souza, Gulshan Grover and Saqib Ayub, this sequel builds on the original’s exploration of ambition, identity and the cost of shortcuts in Bollywood’s shadow economy. Streaming on Amazon MX Player Finding Joy (November 5) Directed, written and produced by Tyler Perry, Finding Joy introduces Joy Ridge (Shannon Thornton), a NYC‑based fashion designer whose life appears poised for love after a holiday getaway in Colorado. Instead, she stumbles upon an unexpected connection that forces her to question everything she thought mattered—her career, her future and what it truly means to find joy in the ordinary. Set against the mountainous backdrop of Joy’s transformative journey, the film marks the third project under Perry’s four‑picture deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Streaming on Prime Video The Fantastic Four: First Steps (November 5) In Marvel’s bold reboot of its iconic team, Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss‑Bachrach) are already established heroes on Earth-828, a retro-futuristic world. Streaming on JioHotstar Death by Lightning (November 6) This four‑part historical drama chronicles the brief but pivotal presidency of James A. Garfield (Michael Shannon), who rose from poverty to become the 20th President of the United States, only to be assassinated months into his tenure by his former admirer Charles J. Guiteau (Matthew Macfayden). Based on Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President by Candice Millard, the series adapts themes of corruption, civil‑service reform and power at the crossroads of America’s past and future. It also features Nick Offerman as Chester A. Arthur and Betty Gilpin as First Lady Crete Garfield. Streaming on Netflix The Vince Staples Show season 2 (November 6) Rapper‑actor Vince Staples stars as a heightened version of himself in this satirical comedy-drama, returning for six new episodes that pick up after his Uncle James’s death. With creator‑star Staples joined by guest stars like Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones, the season follows him on a chaotic road trip with his mother and sister as he grapples with grief, identity and the absurdities of everyday success. Streaming on Netflix Baramulla (November 7) In the mist‑shrouded Kashmiri town of Baramulla, DSP Ridwaan Shafi Sayyid (Manav Kaul) is assigned to investigate the mysterious disappearance of children, a case tangled in regional unrest and haunting folklore. As Ridwaan settles in with his wife Gulnaar (Bhasha Sumbli) and their kids, unexplained events begin to ripple: eerie scents of unseen dogs, whispers in empty rooms and footprints emerging at night. This supernatural thriller fuses crime procedural and psychological horror, drawing on the valley’s unsolved real‑life mysteries. Streaming on Netflix Frankenstein (November 7) Acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro reinvents Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus in this visually rich and emotionally intense adaptation, starring Oscar Isaac as Dr. Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi as the creature he brings to life and Mia Goth as Elizabeth Lavenza.
