The Hallyu star is making his K-drama comeback in Last Summer, which marks his first on-screen collaboration with Choi Sung Eun. Amid much anticipation, find out when and where you can catch Last Summer on OTT... Lee Jae Wook & Choi Sung Eun's Last Summer OTT release When and where can I watch Last Summer? Last Summer releases on November 1, 2025, and will stream on Viki in India. The KBS drama is in the weekly Saturday-Sunday slot, and the episodes will stream on Viki on the same day as they air in South Korea. While Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun headline the upcoming drama, the supporting cast includes Kim Gun Woo of The Glory fame, Ahn Dong Gu of Our Beloved Summer fame and Jung Bo Min of A Hundred Memories fame. What is the story of Last Summer? Last Summer is a rom-com K-drama that tells the rekindled love tale between two childhood friends (and first loves!), Baek Doha (Lee Jae Wook) and Song Hakyung (Choi Sung Eun), who drifted apart after a fateful event. Years later, the two reunite due to a lawsuit over Peanut House, a duplex, where they're forced to cohabitate together. Doha is a talented architect who unexpectedly returns to Patan, while Hakyung is a civil servant in Patan Village’s architecture department. The timing couldn't be more apt as Hakyung plans to sell Peanut House, which Doha claims ownership of. Amid their heated legal dispute, the estranged pals get caught in a love triangle with Seo Soohyuk (Kim Gun Woo), an appellate lawyer, who represents Doha and begins to show interest in Hakyung. While living together, Doha tries to instil nostalgia within Hakyung, who won't budge. Turns out her anger stems not from Doha but from his twin brother Baek Doyoung (also Lee Jae Wook). How Doha and Hakyung's fractured equation makes way for a memorable romance, we'll have to wait and watch! In an interview with Herald Pop, via Soompi, Lee Jae Wook touched upon the challenges of taking on his first-ever dual role in Last Summer: “I reflected a lot on my own and discussed it extensively with the director. I approached the two characters by highlighting the differences between Do Ha’s optimism and Do Young’s idealism.” Furthermore, he revealed what viewers can look forward to in the rom-com K-drama: “The heart of the story lies in the process of Do Ha and Ha Kyung gradually opening up to each other. Last Summer is a drama about time, seasons, and people all growing together. It’s a story you’ll want to hold on to, so I hope many viewers give it their love and support.”
