Lake Country Art Gallery is saying goodbye to its curator Wanda Lock. “Wanda has left a strong and significant legacy for the Lake Country Art Gallery,” said Sharon McCoubrey, President of the Lake Country Art Gallery Society. “Her creative and unique connections between art, pop culture, and concepts have resulted in the excellent exhibitions that have set a foundation of quality and creativity for the gallery.” Lock joined the gallery staff in 2015, but had a hand in operations beginning in 2011 as a guest curator followed by a position on the Board of Directors and in various volunteer roles. Since 2015, Lock has curated more than 65 exhibits. Lock’s final curated exhibit is on display featuring work by Emily Green, Caitlin ffrench, and Tiziana LaMelia.
