Kurt Angle returns to the ring for major project

Kurt Angle was just involved in a major project. This allowed him to return to the ring.Kurt Angle is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He was the first-ever Olympic Gold medalist to set foot inside a WWE ring. Angle took to the squared circle quite easily and established himself as a top star. He has competed against and beaten some of the very best in the company. Angle's wrestling career came to an end at WrestleMania 35 after he lost his retirement match to Baron Corbin. Since then, he has stayed away from the ring. Now, the WWE legend has returned to the ring again in a promotional video for CBS Sports, where he seemingly represents the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens as both teams race to win the AFC North Championship in the NFL.Kurt Angle explained why he retired at WrestleMania 35Kurt Angle made his return to the WWE in 2017 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was then made the General Manager of RAW. He spent so much time away from the ring that when he started wrestling again, he looked like a shadow of his former self.Speaking with The Undertaker on Six Feet Under, Kurt Angle explained that he was wrestling well when he returned to WWE. However, Vince McMahon wanted to induct him to the Hall of Fame and then make him the GM of RAW. When Angle was finally allowed to wrestle again, his body couldn't keep up, which is why he decided to retire at WrestleMania 35."Then all of a sudden, he’s like, 'Kurt, I want you to wrestle.' That’s gonna be a problem. Because when I got in there, I looked like cr*p. I mean, I couldn’t do anything. It made me want to retire earlier than I wanted to. That’s why I retired with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. I didn’t want people to look at me and say, 'Gosh, he used to be great, but now he…' Yeah. I didn’t want that. So I decided, 'This is it.'"It will be interesting to see if this project will lead Angle to eventually make his return to the ring for real.
