KSMCA hands over ₹30.71 crore special dividend to Karnataka govt.

The Karnataka State Marketing Communication and Advertising Limited (KSMCA), the government’s official advertising agency, handed over a special dividend of ₹30.71 crore to the State government on Thursday. The cheque was formally presented to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah by M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries and Infrastructure Development, and Satish Krishna Sail, Chairman of KSMCA and MLA from Karwar Assembly Constituency. The event was also attended by Mohammed Ateequlla Shariff, Managing Director of KSMCA, and Nandisha P.S., Deputy General Manager. Speaking on the occasion, Minister M.B. Patil praised the company’s trajectory towards profitable growth. However, he expressed concern over the decline in turnover and profitability following the loss of the Excise Security Label printing and sales business. He urged the Chief Minister to consider reinstating this business segment to support the company’s economic revival. Chairman Satish Krishna Sail further appealed to the government to include KSMCA in its digitalisation initiatives and to enhance the 4G exemption amount, which would enable the company to expand its role in the State’s digital transformation efforts.
