KPop Demon Hunter toys are coming from Hasbro and Mattel

KPop Demon Hunters' world domination continues, with two global giants in the realm of toys and family entertainment, Mattel and Hasbro, having both been named "co-master" toy licensees for the animated franchise. Considering the two are fierce rivals, this collaboration goes to show just how hot a commodity the Netflix animation continues to be, even months after its June debut. Mattel and Hasbro's partnerships with Netflix will introduce an eye-watering amount of KPop Demon Hunters toys, collectibles, games, and role-play products. Hasbro Games, Wizards of the Coast, Furby, and Nerf are all part of Hasbro's iconic portfolio. Could this mean that KPop Demon Hunters Magic: The Gathering cards, or even Dungeons & Dragons products, like dice and adventures, are on the way? At the time of writing, this is just speculation, but I won't say I'm not excited about the possibility. What is confirmed to be KPop Demon Hunters' first product coming from Hasbro is Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters. Available for pre-order on Amazon, Target, and Walmart, the board game will ship out on Jan. 1, 2026. "KPop Demon Hunters is a powerful pop culture phenomenon with global resonance — one that aligns seamlessly with our portfolio of iconic brands and our commitment to innovation," Tim Kilpin, president of toy, licensing, and entertainment at Hasbro, said in a news release. "This collaboration with Netflix enables us to bring the film’s dynamic universe to life beyond the screen, offering fans immersive new ways to engage through play. Together, we’re building a product lineup that unites storytelling and fandom in a uniquely Hasbro way." As for Mattel, the company will produce a range of products across various categories, including dolls, action figures, accessories, collectibles, play sets, and collaborations with co-brands. Currently, Mattel Creations, the company's direct-to-consumer platform, has introduced a pre-sale for a three-pack of Huntr/x dolls. Fans will be able to purchase the collection on Nov. 12. Orders will ship out sometime in 2026. "We’re thrilled to deepen our partnership with Netflix through the record-shattering, chart-topping KPop Demon Hunters," said Roberto Stanichi, chief global brand officer at Mattel. "Celebrating the breakout characters at the heart of the film, Mattel will harness our world-class design, creative, and marketing expertise to introduce a broad range of products across major categories to the delight of fans around the world." The most surprising thing about this slew of KPop Demon Hunters merchandise is how long it took to finally happen. It's no secret that Sony Animation and Netflix's animated sensation has won the hearts and minds of everyone. Tracks like "Golden" have been dominating music services like Spotify, and it even hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The singing voices behind Huntr/x, the fictional girl group that by day are global superstars by day and demon hunters by night, recently performed live on Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live. KPop Demon Hunters is Netflix's most popular movie ever. The animated film racked up over 443 million hours viewed and 266 million views overall since launch, beating the previous record-holder: the 2021 action comedy Red Notice starring Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot. Now with talks about a sequel, one thing is clear: There's still plenty more KPop Demon Hunters to come.
