Karl-Anthony Towns posted some of the photos from the day, including a picture featuring O.G. Anunoby, Towns, and Brunson.

In the image, the 6-foot-2 Brunson appears drastically shorter than the 7-foot Towns and the 6-foot-6 Anunoby, although the proportions of the image have been altered to make the guard look smaller than he actually is.

Towns and Brunson are entering their second season together, with more pressure than ever on the duo to deliver an NBA Finals berth.

The Knicks were stopped by the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, ending a promising season and the franchise’s deepest run in years.

Former head coach Tom Thibodeau departed the team over the offseason, and the Knicks hired Mike Brown as his replacement.

The new coach is already voicing his assurance to change Towns’ role in the New York offense.

“The biggest thing is we want to move KAT around,” Brown said, per James L. Edwards III of The Athletic. “We don’t want to keep him in the trail spot or at the top of the floor all the time. We want to move him around to the weak corner, strong corner, weak wing, and sometimes as the push man offensively.”More news: Knicks Star Says He Was ‘Miserable’ in New York Before Shocking Trade

In his first season with the Knicks, Towns played in 72 games, his most in three years, and averaged around 35 minutes per appearance.

He scored 24.2 points, grabbed 12.8 rebounds, and dished out 3.1 assists in an All-Star season that was rewarded with a third-team All-NBA berth.

While his numbers were significant, Towns’ success will be measured by how far the team goes come playoff time.

With Brunson at his side and a weakened East, Towns has the platform to cement himself as a truly elite center who impacts winning basketball.More news: Knicks’ Jalen Brunson Doesn’t Hold Back on Potentially Getting Complacent
